Yoga Schedule 
No Yoga on June 23rd 

Sundays - Kettle View Park
through August 25th (Weather Permitting)

Yoga in the Park  60 minutes - FREE No Charge
10:00-11:00am
Weather Permitting the class is held each Sunday at 10 AM from June through August. These classes are at Kettle View Park 100 yards down the street from the Briggs YMCA  and are designed to introduce new and continuing students to the foundations of alignment, breathwork, primary poses, sequences and variations. There is no previous experience needed to enjoy this outdoor experience. Check here each week to make sure we will be practiceing. I will post a notice if the class is cancelled or text you if you have provided your phone number.

Saturdays - Plum Street YMCA

Mixed Level Yoga  60 minutes
9:10-10:10am
These classes are open to all levels of practice.  Your instructor will give you options and modifications throughout the class.  More complex poses may be introduced for advanced students, while beginners can work at their own level and work towards what’s next! This class is intended for the student who have practiced yoga before,  but this is not required and there is no previous experience needed to enjoy a mixed level class.

Mondays - Briggs YMCA 

Gentle Yoga  60 minutes
10:45-11:45pm
Designed to gently assist you in improving strength and flexibility. Perfect for beginners, seniors, those of you coming back to Yoga or looking for a gentle practice.

Wednesdays - Briggs YMCA 

Gentle Yoga  60 minutes
12:00-1:00pm
Designed to gently assist you in improving strength and flexibility. Perfect for beginners, seniors, those of you coming back to Yoga or looking for a gentle practice.
Yin Yoga 75 minutes
1:15-2:30pm
Yin yoga poses require little or no muscular exertion; each pose is held for several minutes with or without the use of props (blankets, bolsters, and blocks). 
Without the distraction of constant movement and muscle engagement, your connective tissues have the opportunity to stretch and release. Though you will receive intentional guidance during the class to notice any thoughts of sensations arising in your body; this is practice of silence and stillness. Participants leave feeling grounded, well rested, and nourished; with a new cultivated awareness.  No yoga or meditation experience is needed and all levels are welcome.
